LEGAL
Terms.
These terms describe the basic rules for using Arctic Plate’s information website and marketplace. Transaction-specific notices shown in the marketplace may also apply to a particular order or account action.
1. Marketplace role
Arctic Plate provides technology that helps independent food sellers list products and helps customers discover and order from those sellers. Sellers are independent businesses or individuals and are responsible for their products, operations, and legal obligations.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate information and protect account access. Sellers must complete the required onboarding and review steps before a storefront is made public. Arctic Plate may limit or suspend access when needed for marketplace safety, compliance, account security, or operational reasons.
3. Seller responsibilities
Sellers control their listings, menu pricing, availability, and fulfillment options and are responsible for applicable food, licensing, labeling, allergen, source, tax, and local requirements. Arctic Plate review does not replace a seller’s legal obligations.
4. Orders and payments
Order details, current prices, applicable fees, fulfillment choices, and payment confirmation shown in the marketplace form the transaction record. Customers should review the order before placing it.
5. Fulfillment
Pickup, seller delivery, and Arctic Plate delivery are different fulfillment methods. Availability can vary by seller, order, city, and current operating conditions. Users must provide accurate pickup/delivery information and cooperate with the selected handoff method.
6. Fees and pricing
Applicable customer fees and delivery charges are shown before checkout. Seller launch pricing may change over time. The live marketplace checkout and seller-account notices control when they differ from general information on this site.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the order stage, responsibility, preparation status, and the original order record. Requests may require seller information and administrator review. See the Refund & Cancellation page.
8. Content
Users retain rights they have in original content they provide. Sellers must have the right to upload content. Separate marketing-use permissions are described in the Seller Content & Marketing Policy.
9. Prohibited conduct
Users may not use Arctic Plate for fraud, harassment, unlawful sales, misleading listings, payment abuse, account misuse, interference with the service, or other activity that puts users or the marketplace at risk.
10. Changes and availability
Arctic Plate may update features, service areas, pricing, policies, or availability as the marketplace develops. Material account or policy changes may be communicated through the marketplace, website, or account contact information.
