Arctic Plate provides marketplace infrastructure for local food sellers and customers. Trust depends on accurate seller information, secure ordering, clear fulfillment expectations, and each participant following the rules that apply to them.
Arctic Plate reviews seller applications and marketplace readiness before a storefront is listed. This is not a government inspection, license, or legal certification.
Marketplace payments are handled through Arctic Plate’s payment infrastructure and payment provider. Keep marketplace orders and payment activity on the platform.
Sellers are expected to keep menus, prices, availability, fulfillment information, business information, and photos reasonably current.
Pickup, seller delivery, and Arctic Plate delivery are distinct fulfillment methods. Availability and responsibility depend on the option selected for the order.
Cancellation and refund requests can require seller information and administrator review. Money is not moved based only on a customer or seller claim.
Harassment, discrimination, scams, misleading listings, unsafe conduct, or attempts to misuse the marketplace are not acceptable.
FOOD SAFETY & LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY
Arctic Plate does not guarantee that a seller’s food is legal to sell. Sellers are responsible for applicable Alaska rules, local requirements, licensing, labeling, allergen disclosure, product eligibility, and approved food sources.
