This page explains the main categories of information Arctic Plate may process to operate the marketplace, support users, protect accounts, and meet business or legal requirements.
1. Information you provide
Depending on how you use Arctic Plate, information may include account details, contact information, seller/business information, storefront and menu content, order and fulfillment information, support messages, policy acceptances, and account-management requests.
2. Payment information
Marketplace payments are processed through a payment provider. Arctic Plate may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, refund information, and payout information needed to operate the marketplace, while sensitive card details are handled by the payment provider.
3. Technical and security information
Arctic Plate may process device, browser, session, network, security, and activity information needed to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to provide accounts and storefronts, process and fulfill orders, operate payments and refunds, support users, review sellers, communicate service information, detect misuse, maintain security, keep records, and comply with applicable obligations.
5. Service providers
Arctic Plate may use hosting, payment, email, analytics, security, and other service providers to perform functions needed to operate the marketplace. Providers receive information appropriate to the service they perform.
6. Seller and order information
Some seller storefront information is intentionally public. Order information is shared as needed among the customer, seller, Arctic Plate, and relevant fulfillment/payment participants to complete or support the transaction.
7. Retention
Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for marketplace operations, account recovery, transaction and refund records, security, dispute handling, business records, and applicable legal requirements. Account deletion does not necessarily erase transaction or legally required records immediately.
8. Cookies and local storage
The websites or marketplace may use browser storage or similar technologies for sessions, preferences, carts, security, and performance. Browser controls can affect some functionality.
9. Children
Arctic Plate is not designed as a service for children under 13. Marketplace transactions and seller activities must be completed by users legally capable of entering the relevant transaction.
10. Questions and requests
Privacy questions or requests may be sent to [email protected]. Arctic Plate may need to verify a requester before changing account or record information.
